As a psychotherapist, below are the areas where I have professional counseling and psychotherapy experience, including adults, adolescent and couples therapy.
FOR CLIENTS
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Therapy provides a time and place just for you. Time for processing your experiences and exploring your feelings. Sometimes we can feel sad, alone, helpless, unfulfilled, or stagnant. Working with my clients’ individual strengths and personalities, we’ll identity the root cause of your struggles and establish skills and techniques to move forward in life. Each person’s reason for coming into therapy is different. I work with many issues that often include:
COUPLES THERAPY
I can provide guidance, perspective and support so that you can learn together how to enrich your relationship through intentional change. In our work together, I offer a contained space for you to gain tools, pattern identification and skills that help guide your relationship closer towards where you want to be, repairing old wounds and rebuilding trust and intimacy. I will encourage you to turn towards one another instead of away. I'll work with you to understand you and your partner's strengths, priorities and why they do what they do. Couples therapy can address: Rekindling the love that brought you together in the first place, how to handle conflict resolution, communication skills training, intimacy enhancement & education, infidelity, processing a separation or divorce, preparing for marriage or cohabitation, or navigating personal, individual life transitions together as a team.
FOR THERAPISTS
CLINICAL SUPERVISION
I’m a strong believer in being supported, and supporting others when working in the mental health field. As a supervisor I strive to support my supervisees and explore how this work impacts us as a whole. As a therapist you will have the honor of a direct impact on people’s lives, and it will be an extremely rewarding career while still being emotionally challenging. Therapy is evolving and so should your supervision.
Navigating the licensing journey involves quite a lot. I’m here to help you process it all. All of the learning, interning, studying for the clinical exam, and experience you are getting will be worth it. I would love to help you, help others.
CONSULTATION
As a therapist with extensive training and experience with First Responders and their families, I offer case consultation to therapists who need support understanding this culture and population. Rates are the same as my clinical hour or packages available for ongoing support. We can meet online or via phone if you are not local or outside California.
